Starting/Stopping DevRiot

When DevRiot loads into Visual Studio the RIOT engine has not been downloaded yet. It is just before the first call to one of the other buttons that the RIOT engine is downloaded and the rest of the internal structures, connections, etc come into action. The default setting is "on".
Under some circumstances it is convenient to stop the tool, say that you are about to enter a period where change-the-code/build-the-assembly happens quite frequently. RIOT's automatic rebuild process will kick in after each successful build; if this particular type has a lot of tests already, the normal build time will increase. It can become distracting or simply annoying.
If the tool is stopped everything is released: structures, connections, etc, and a little status message will appear:
